Just 700' to the gulf waters out the back where you will practically have the beach to yourself!

The open floor plan includes a fully stocked, well equipped kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a large pantry ,a breakfast bar seating 4 and dining area that seats 6. The large great room features a sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 extra guests, flat screen tv and a full house stereo system.

Wake up in your king-sized primary suite to magnificent water views. The en suite bathroom is pure luxury, featuring double sinks, large freestanding jetted tub with body wand and chromatherapy bulbs, and separate large walk-in shower with body jets.
The second queen-sized bedroom has a private bathroom and sleeps 2 more.

After a day on the beach, rinse off in your outdoor shower and grill (charcoal) in the covered area under the house.

This is a non pet friendly home, smoking is not allowed in the home and no events are permitted.
Minimum age to rent is 25.

  This house was exactly what we needed! Great location, comfy beds, it has a washer and dryer, it was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, and it has a charcoal grill. The bathrooms had plenty of towels along with toiletries and a hair dryer provided, and we loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom connected. This house would be perfect for two couples to share for a friends getaway. The hammock is gone so don't get excited about that when you see it in the pictures, but there is other great seating outside to enjoy the beautiful bay side views of the water. We had a great time and would definitely rent this home again.
  I also want to give a shout out to whoever the cleaning crew is for this home. Y'all are great! This house was spotless! It was by far the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in.

  We had an amazing time good location . We went in July so we didn’t take the stroll to the beach we drove to the close beach access. Very Clean inside staff was very nice . Only two dislikes the plugs in the either bathroom didn’t work your blow dryer . And your unable to control the ac I was pretty warm in the unit .

The only thing that could be better was, the floors were sticky throughout the house. It was unpleasant to walk on barefoot, but this could just have been a type of floor cleaning product. Nothing that would stop us from staying here again. We will definitely be back!

  We had never been to Navarre Beach but after this trip we may never visit any other beach. What a fun and relaxing environment. The house was amazing. Perfect for just the two of us with enough room for our grandkids who live nearby to spend a day and night with us. The dedicated bike path was wonderful and we felt very comfortable riding in the neighborhood too. We played golf two days at two separate courses and both were great. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard my husband say he was sorry our vacation was coming to an end and he wished we could stay longer.

  Our stay at Castaway Cove was great. We arrived just a little earlier than check-in time, but were able to get in to the rental just a short time later. Lisa walked me through the property and answered all my questions, and she also gave me some information about the area, too. The property was neat, clean, and amply furnished. My family and I quickly felt at home. We would definitely consider staying at Castaway Cove again sometime, and would recommend the property to friends or relatives. We had a little trouble with getting on the WIFI at first, but the folks at Blue Moon Vacation Rentals helped us ASAP. We enjoyed spending time at the beach, which was within a very short distance of the property. My husband and I also enjoyed running in the neighborhood. Navarre Beach is a beautiful area and less commercialized than some of its neighbors, but there are still stores and restaurants within an easy distance of this property.

  Blue Moon was wonderful!! The house was exactly what the pictures and description said it was. Wonderful views, you could see water from the front and back of the home. The master bedroom has an amazing walk in shower as well as a jacuzzi bathtub (we did not get a chance to use this). We had one small issue with a plug and the microwave, but someone was there and it was fixed in less than 30 minutes of the email I sent. They were always timely in responding to any questions or concerns that we had. And I think for me my favorite part was that the towels smelled amazing , not your typical no smell hotel laundry soap. It was a very nice touch. We would definitely rent through them again!!

  This was our first house rental and it was a wonderful experience! Working with the management company was easy, we had no issues. We had contactless check- in. The house was spacious, clean, nicely decorated (it does have fragile decor for little hands... but they could be moved if needed), and in good condition. The kitchen had everything we needed /was fully stocked. The washer and dryer worked great! The jetted tub in the master bathroom was such a bonus! The beds were comfortable. The pull out couch was comfortable enough for a child, but would not have been great for an adult...but it’s a pull out couch, so as expected! Outside: the hose and shower were so nice after a sandy trip to the beach. The hammock was nice and relaxing. There is a new home being built across the street (on the Sound side), so there was some construction noise and if you try and walk straight across to the Sound you would be in the construction area, but you could walk around the construction. The construction didn’t bother us at all. You can walk to the public beach access to the Gulf side, but with little kids, we chose to drive (it takes 1-2 minutes: right turn out of the driveway, turn right and drive through a parking area and then cross a street and you are there). There were no showers or water hose at the public beach access. Great quiet area to vacation! There are not a lot of restaurants on the island and not big tourist attractions, but we really appreciated that! Opal Beach is about 5-10 minutes down the road and it’s beautiful too. Highly recommend this rental!

  Castaway Cove was everything we imagined and more! It was very clean and well maintained. Soothing and subtle paint colors on walls, beautifully decorated. Furniture was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the large porch while viewing the Santa Rosa Sound! The house was a quick walk to the beach. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood and observed something new each day on our walks! The house was perfect for the two of us , our daughter and son-in-law and two young grandchildren!

  The entire process of booking, checking in and out was very smooth through Blue Moon Vacation Rentals . The house was very nice and cozy. We loved the decor and layout . It was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff, especially Teresa and Emily, were very friendly, helpful and provided prompt and attentive communication whether by email or phone. You must be able to climb stairs as with all beach houses because they are lifted off the ground. We enjoyed our stay only wish the weather cooperated so that we could enjoy the beach. Easy access to the beach. Property was exactly as listed.

  For smaller family or 4 adults the house is perfect. For parents with kids, the beach is just across the block with plenty of public parking and access to load up the mini van with all your beach accessories.

  House was beautiful-staff at rental agency great to work with! The actual listing was a bit misleading as even though we were 700 ft from the beach that wasn’t the actual distance associated with going over and up a blocks radius to access the beach through the public beach access. The Only other thing was you were asked to leave the air conditioner setting on 74, which was quite warm while you were cooking or during times when it was rather warm outside. If my stay would have been during summer I would have been miserable!

  We loved this house! The views are amazing. Great location. We did drive down to the beach as it is not right on the beach but across the Street. My favorite was eating meals on the porch each evening as the sun was setting. You can basically see different parts of the beach from every room and it's pretty private compared to other beach houses in the area. Definitely would recommend this house.

  The pictures don’t do this property justice! Castaway Cove is a beautiful property! It was so quiet and away from the hussle and bustle of the crazy beach crowds but close enough that you can really experience a different side of the beach! This property was clean upon arrival and offered beautiful updates throughout the home. We had an issue with a leaky window when Tropical Storm Cristobal hit with insane winds and rain for a solid day but Al and Jeanette were quick to get the problem cleaned up for us.
