With the beach right across the street, this gorgeous new custom built home will astound and mesmerize you. Gulf Sound is high end beach living at it's absolute finest!
Breathtaking Gulf views abound from practically every inch of this beauty and NOTHING has been over-looked in the design, the amenities and the professional decor of this private home.
On the main floor, your entire group can gather in the spacious living area, dining area and the enormous chef's kitchen featuring high end cabinetry, countertops and appliances. Prepare a cocktail at the separate wet bar with ice maker and wine/soda fridge.
Added features are a large laundry room and half bath for your convenience.
The wrap around deck with Gulf and Sound views offers additional dining and relaxing options while watching the waves.

Up one flight is the king-sized primary with a private west facing Gulf and Sound view deck. The en suite bath has a gorgeous tiled walk-in shower, dual sinks and separate water closet.
Down the hall is a bedroom with 2 twins, and private en suite bath with tub/shower combo.
Also on this floor is another king bedroom and a queen-sized bedroom with a Jack 'n Jill bath between them. The fifth bedroom is a great spot for the kids, with 2 sets of bunk beds and large play area.
All bedrooms have flat screen TV's. There is no carpeting anywhere!
The wrap around deck on this floor is another great spot to enjoy gazing at the Gulf, reading a book or taking an afternoon siesta. You'll be eye to eye with the shorebirds from here!

Just outside your door is your luxurious private pool (can be heated with $75/day fee) with ample lounge and dining seating. There is a grassy area for the kids to play as well as a separate fenced in beach sand area for you to build your own sandcastle!
A convenient half bath is next to the pool as well as an outdoor shower and an additional fridge for "pool drinks".
A charcoal grill is provided. Contact PM after booking to add heated pool days. Tax and cc fee will apply.

Another great hang out spot is in the second garage with flat screen TV, dart board, and a ping pong table. Throw open the garage doors, set up your chairs and start a tournament!!! This is adjacent to the pool bath and fridge. A free-standing ice maker is also here for your convenience.
There is garage parking for 2 cars as well as driveway parking for 4 more.

Once you stay at this aptly named Gulf Sound home, where you have forever water views just across from both the Gulf and the Sound beaches, it will surely become your go-to spot for your next island beach getaway!

Smoking is not allowed in the home, on the decks or on the grounds. No events are permitted, occupancy is strictly adhered to and minimum age to rent is 25.

  good: very clean home, AC works impressively for such a large house and crazy hot weather, perfect location, beach was gorgeous, exterior of house design with huge wrap around porches fantastic, great communal beach gear area for guests to borrow, very responsive rental company, very fairly priced rental. bad: elevator broken/not able to use.. LOTS of steps, no beach towels for guest use (first time in 10 yrs. of renting vacation homes that this has happened), strange how many areas are "owners" and locked (bedroom, garage space, many cabinets/closets, far more than is usual or customary, I read this in a previous review but did not fully understand what they meant), no common cabinet for panty staples like salt/pepper, flour, etc. (again, first time we have ever seen this in our travels/rentals), internet very spotty (rental company tried their best... but one of our guests was trying to work remotely, impossible at this location), upstairs area (4 kids in bunk room, 2 adults in queen room attached via jack and jill bath to 2 adults in king room) all shared this one bathroom- 8 people for one bathroom not ideal

    Thank you for your kind words about Blue Moon. We do our best to make our guests comfortable and have no surprises when they check in. For that reason, we clearly state what is provided and what is not. Beach towels, condiments and the elevator are not. A small garage and 2 cabinets are marked for owner use as is customary in all rentals. Unfortunately internet service can be spotty at times which cannot be helped. There are 3 full bathrooms on this floor to service the bedrooms.

  We had a group of 10 (4 small grandkids) that just completed our 1 week stay at Gulf Sound on June 22. We all had a great time and my 4 grandkids did not want to leave. It doesn't happen often when expectations are thoroughly exceeded but in our case everything truly exceeded our expectations! The location was ideal, just a very short walk (half a block, if that) to the beach. The view of the gulf was amazing and the wrap-around porch was something special. Our private pool was a nice change of pace to the beach. The pool was crystal clear, the pool area spotless and our small grandkids preferred that to the beach. The nicest surprise was the overall cleanliness of everything. I can't overstate how clean and well-stocked the place was. Another nice surprise was the elevator that was perfectly situated and was not even listed in the unit's description. It was a life saver!! We all loved the game room with some serious ping pong action always going on. Another nice surprise was the ground floor locker with all kinds of beach gear and beach chairs. We thought we'd have to buy or rent them but they were their in abundance. I can't speak highly enough about the management staff. They were there on site as we got to the unit and were extremely helpful before and after we arrived. If it sounds like I'm being hyperbolic or exaggerating I assure you that every member of our group agrees and I already booked the same unit for next year. I highly recommend this beautiful rental house.

  This place was great for the group we had, everything was there that was needed. The only thing that was questionable and for a first time this has ever happened, a lot of the home was blocked off by the owners. Just didn’t feel the same.

    Note that only one room on the back side of the home is for the owners. They NEVER stay here when we have guests, so this should not have been an issue.

  Lovely spacious home was even better than described. Great for families. Both kids and adults enjoyed ping pong, corn in the hole, darts, not to mention the pool and the beach. We were also impressed with the cleanliness upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with needed items. Management was prompt when contacted and very helpful.
